Bullet Journaling

Taking your work home with you is YOUR responsibility. 

​

If you misplace your bullet journal, that is your responsibility to replace. 

Materials

I will try my absolute hardest to provide you with a large range of materials, but please make sure you are bringing some essentials to class every day like:

​

- PENCIL

-ERASER

- Any personal writing materials (different coloured pens, markers, etc.) 

-Bullet journal

December 9 - 13

Tuesday:​

​

  • Assignment #5 - Mood Tracker

    • ​​Students will get all of today's class to set up their mood tracker 2 page spread 

      • Before we begin with the mood tracker page, I will do I five minute doodle demonstration and teach students how to draw Christmas lights, a variety of Christmas trees, and hollies

      • I will show students a variety of ways they can set up their pages for this spread!

      • Students will receive a handout that details what should be included in this two page spread!

Thursday

  • Work Period

    • Before we begin with the mood tracker page, I will do I five minute doodle demonstration and teach students how to draw snow flakes and a cartoon version of rudolf! 

    • Students will have today's class to work on COMPLETING assignment #5

    • If students finish their mood tracker spread, they may continue to work on completing their other assignments 

December 2 - 6

  • Assignment #4 - Gratitude/Prayer Wheel 

    • ​Students will get all of today's class to set up their gratitude wheels! 

    • I will show students a variety of ways they can set up their pages for this spread!

    • Students will receive a handout that details what should be included in this two page spread!

    • Students will have today's class to work on COMPLETING assignment #4

November 25 - 29

Tuesday:​

  • Assignment #3: Goals/Intentions Page 

    • Students will get all of today's class to brainstorm some goals/intentions for their 2019/2020 school year. 

    • Students may choose to focus solely on goals, whereas others may want to approach this in terms of intentions. 

    • Students will be provided with a planning page before they get started on their good copies in their journals. The planning page will also incorporate the specific requirements needed for this assignment!

  • Work Period/Catch Up Day

    • Students will have today's class to work on COMPLETING assignments 1-3​

November 18 - 22

Tuesday:​

​

  • Assignment #1: Title Page 

    • Students will get all of today's class time to put their practice to work and create their bullet journaling title pages. ​

    • Students will receive a handout and rubric for this assignment that details exactly what needs to be included in their title pages. The key thing that students must do is incorporate what they have learned/practiced during last day's class and put that into their title page!

Thursday

  • We will see how Tuesday goes, and if I feel that students need further class time for their title pages, they will get a portion of today's class to complete their first assignment. 

  • The chromebook cart is booked for today's class, as I want students to incorporate some inspirational quotes into their bullet journals. They will be able to use the chromebooks to research inspirational quotes that they would like to include in the free space of their bullet journals! 

November 11 - 15

  • WELCOME TO BULLET JOURNALING! 

  • Go through the course outline together as a class 

  • Establish what is needed for materials 

  • Provide students with the general layout of the course and what will be expected of them

  • As a beginning exercise students will practice drawing various types of banners and boarders on scrap paper! The skills that they develop will be transferred into their good copy pages in their bullet journals! The first assignment will be to incorporate a banner style and boarder style into a title page, so this will be good practice for them before they start on good copies next Tuesday!
